We’ll report on Saturday’s summer ride shortly – but as a quick aside, a visit to the outpatients department at the hospital revealed that provision for active travel was sadly lacking. While there are a few bike racks outside the main hospital entrance, round at outpatients there’s nothing at all for bicycles … even though motorbikes get their own, covered, lit, dedicated space. A spot of improvisation was in order
