With lockdown easing we’re able to run organised rides again.
We know lots of people have got into cycling in the past year and may be looking to keep going so for the Easter holidays we’ve got a short programme of family friendly rides with routes to suit everyone.
On Sunday 11th and 18th April we are running two rides per afternoon: one short and really easy ‘explorer ride’ for those who prefer a more gentle jaunt, and one slightly more challenging ‘discovery ride’ for riders who want to do a bit more. Both options are still very beginner friendly though – all on quiet roads and cycle paths.
The rides are free but to help us stay Covid safe, you do need to book in advance – just follow the links below. Places are extremely limited and booking out fast.
- Sunday 11th April 1:30 Discovery Ride – Heathhall Forest (6 miles +)
- Sunday 11th April 1:45 Explorer Ride – Mavis Grove (3.5 miles)
- Sunday 18th April 1:30 Discovery Ride – Mabie Forest (11 miles)
- Sunday 18th April 1:45 Explorer Ride – Lincluden Abbey (4 miles)
All rides start from Dock Park and should be finished by 3:30. Regretfully, no refreshments can be provided so BYOC (bring your own cake!). Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
