It’s fair to say that 2016 has been an ‘interesting’ year – so here’s your chance to get 2017 off to the best possible start.
Whether you’re already a regular winter cyclist, or you’ve resolved to get out a bit more in the new year – or if you’ve just overindulged over the holiday season and want to start to burn off the excess – this is your chance to clear out the cobwebs and and get out on the bike
So, on New Year’s Day, please join us for a run to Caerlaverock for a reviving hot soup, and then home again. Meet at 11 am at Devorgilla Bridge (note NOT Dock Park, although we will be heading that way to pick up any stragglers), for a gentle paced ride (some people may be feeling a little fragile).
This will be a bit of an easier run than our Dalbeattie ride – the route will depend on how people feel on the day and the prevailing wind, but it won’t be longer than 20 miles. We will ride whatever the weather unless the conditions are too icy to be safe – which will be at the discretion of the ride leader.
