It may not seem like it but winter must be drawing to an end because it’s our last winter ride this weekend! It should be a cracker though – we’ve saved the best for last, with a rolling run out to Loch Arthur creamery and farm shop and, of course, the new tea room.
This will be a slightly hillier ride than last month’s but it will be on mainly very quiet roads and cycle paths. We’ll meet at Dock Park at 10am as usual, and aim for an early lunch. Those who appreciate good produce might also want to bring a pannier – Loch Arthur Creamery is renowned for its cheeses and there’s also very good bread, meat and other food on sale in the farm shop.
Hopefully the weather will be kinder to us than last month’s damp excursion – but come prepared! We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and if it looks as if the conditions will be dangerous we’ll cancel, otherwise it goes ahead as long as there’s anyone who wants to join us.
