November might not be the most enticing month to cycle in – but what better cure for the approaching winter blues than a gentle ride around the glorious countryside in good company? Our next ride is this Saturday to Crocketford, taking in the lovely Glen Road, Shawhead village, and the back road to Crocketford, then back via Milton and the Old Military Road. The route is a little rolling but there’s no really tough hills, we’ll keep the pace reasonable and nobody will get left behind. There will be a chance for an early lunch (and more chat) at the Galloway Arms in Crocketford – meet at Dock Park at 10 am.
And then on Tuesday will be our much postponed AGM – and a chance for mince pies and mulled wine to boot. The Rutherfords have kindly agreed to host this (Note that it is NOT in the Coach and Horses this year) so if you’d like to attend please let us know & we’ll give you directions.
